Use the Parkmobile app to park in downtown Boise? Increase in fees coming

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — You've heard about the sky-rocketing prices of used and new car prices.

Now a tool you use to park said cars will be increasing its fees as well.

The City of Boise said this week that beginning on Friday, the fee to use the ParkMobile app will increase to 35 cents to cover processing fees for each transaction.

The app, which the city started using in 2015 and was then 25 cents per transaction, is used to help drivers find and pay for parking without having to go back to feed the meter. You can learn more about options for parking in downtown Boise HERE.
